  13. I have noticed a problem with PageStream 3.0h2 when printing a page which 
  14. has a few bitmapped pictures on it... The page will occasionally print as 
  15. some sort of 'screendump', approximately at 150 dpi instead of the maximum 
  16. 600 dpi of HP LJ 5MP. I have not been able to figure out the reason for this, 
  17. because it sometimes happens and sometimes not, without me doing any changes
  18. in the settings. The pages I print have always 4 bitmapped grayscale (256, IFF) 
  19. pictures (200-350 KB each). I first supected that the laser would have some 
  20. sort of 'emergency' function which will use 1/4 resolution in 'out of memory' 
  21. situations, but I did not find any mention about such in the HP manual... 
  22. On the other hand, I have 16 MB fast in my machine, so I doubt that Pagestream
  23. could have memory problems when printing 1-page documents which are smaller
  24. than 3 MB as PostSript files... Or could it? Any suggestions?
